Jaimie Tani 5 I used this on a very drafty door in a rental apartment. The door already had some kind of rubber insulation around the doorframe, the kind that is slightly flexible and could probably be popped off, and I figured it was best to leave that on rather than risk not being able to put it back on later. So I applied this product right on top, and so far it seems to have made a decent job of closing up the gaps, particularly in the top and side of the door. Just wish they had a slightly longer version of the thin type - the 2m one I bought only covers the top and about half of the side, but I don't think the longer version, which is also thicker, would allow the door to close. The adhesive itself is quite strong once applied, provided the area you're sticking it to has been wiped down first.
