Great for beginners and can be used on acoustic guitars without worries! It was on sale for around 100JPY and does the job for basic capo and maintenance work.The clamp force is quite large so I would recommend a different capo for electric guitar specifically. One that has a slight curve and is smaller in size to mitigate detuning and allow easier playability since the neck is thinner than acoustics and this type of capo sticks out.This type of capo is known for squeaking and getting looser after a while, but I haven't had any problems with durability yet after a few months of use.Not bad.
